BIO322 · Advanced Topics in Genomics
How does genome-scale variation generate biological differences between species, among individuals, and between cells? BIO322 connects evolutionary, regulatory, and molecular genomics with computational analysis of real datasets.
The course is organised around genomic evolution between species, variation among individuals, gene regulation within organisms, and a group research proposal. Weekly lectures are combined with group exercises, quizzes, and project work.

BIO326 · Genome Sequencing: Tools and Analysis
BIO326 examines how genome sequences are generated, reconstructed, assessed, and interpreted across eukaryotes, prokaryotes, and microbial communities.
Students combine wet-lab and computational work, including DNA preparation, long-read sequencing, genome assembly, annotation, quality assessment, and analysis of genomic and metagenomic datasets.
